Bought in green, laid roasts premium single estate, arabica beans at our Bruntsfield store in small batches to ensure quality and freshness. Ground to specification.
Brazil

Costa Rica - Tres Rios
Grown in rich black, volcanic soil on Costa Rica's Central Plateau, this coffee has strong body, a rich aroma and thick, tangy flavour.

Columbian - Swiss Water Decaf
Decaffeinated by a patented process that draws out the caffeine whilst protecting the bean, this is a decaf full of flavour

India Peaberry - Koorghully
Grown in the forests of the Coorg district with a full flavour, balanced acidity and a touch of peppery spices.

The Chocolate Society
Cocoa Powder and Drinking Chocolate from The Chocolate Society, formed in 1991 to draw attention to the difference between the complex delicacy the world's greatest cooks and gourmets recognised as chocolate and the low grade, cloying confections which the British consume by the ton every week.

Charbonnel et Walker
Britain's Master Chocolatiers were founded in 1875 when Edwards VII encourage Mme Charbonnel to leave the chocolate house of Maison Boissier in Paris to join Mrs Walker in London to found a fine chocolatiers and confectionary house. We supply the famous drinking chocolate in original, mocha and orange flavours that recreate the rich flavours and textures of the original real chocolate drink.

Gianduia
Divine chocolate and hazel nut pastes from Piemonte in Italy. Gorgeous as an ingredient in baking, spread on thick slices of fresh bread or, dare we say, straight from the jar.

Barry's Tea
Founded in 1907, Barry's Teas are a high quality blend produced by the Barry family in County Cork, Ireland. Available in a Classic of Gold blend, in bags or loose.

Campbell's Tea
Fine Kenyan, African and Sri Lankan teas, blended in Dublin and packed in a quirky, old-fashioned tine for freshness.

Robert Wilson Ceylon Teas
Wilson's teas are all single estate and personally selected by Wilson to provide the highest quality teas from Sri Lanka available. His policy of only supporting estates that operate under fair and reasonable trading practises, ensures that all parties, from growers to buyers, receive fair wages for fair work. Available in wooden boxes, cartons or tea bags in the following varieties:

  • Brunswick - pungent and full bodied with a reddish hue
  • Iddalgashinna - organic and sweet and best savoured without milk or sugar
  • Kenmare - light in colour, aromatic and flavoursome
  • Mahagasotte - delicate but flavoursome
  • Melfort - strong and malty, a good breakfast tea
  • St James - characteristically pungent from the Uva region of Sri Lanka
  • Thotulagala - organic with a pale colour and pungent flavours.
  • Uruwela - smooth with a hint of sweetness
BISCUITS AND BREAD STICKS

From Pittenween in Scotland these oakcakes are made from local stone ground oatmeal to create a chunky, traditional Scottish staple.

An organic, oaten biscuit, it's a simple addition to the cheeseboard.

II Fornaio d'Oronzo Italian Bread Sticks
Oronzo has been a baker since he was thirteen years old and has become world famous for his succulent breads and biscuits. The secret of his products lies in his wooden-fired ovens that use twigs of olive wood to light up and heat the stone vaults. Currently available are Cantuccini, plain or with wild fennel seeds and Taralli Piccante with onions and mild chillies.

Macleans Oatcakes
A traditional bannock shape or a round from the Isle of Benbecula in the Scottish Outer Hebrides.
